Buehrle hired as Associate Project Manager - Thursday, January 05, 2012

Richard Buehrle, an Electronic Business Design major, was recently hired as associate project manager at Biggs|Gilmore. He received the job offer while still taking the CIS 3620: Project Management course in Fall 2011. He is one of the students who pursued the Business Analysis Focus.

Please see his comments below:

"I will be starting the 28th of December full time as an Associate Project Manager working at Biggs|Gilmore here in Kalamazoo. I am working with our largest client on building a CRM system based on demographic information collected in various forms using many of the techniques I've learned during my time at Western. Some of the key roles that I will play are based of several of the business analyst focus areas such as requirement elicitation and work breakdown structure, as well as task allocation and meeting end user requirements. Many of the BABOK and PMBOK areas of study are crucial to the success of such projects and the knowledge that I obtained via Westerns course offerings helped mold my skill sets and provided me with the opportunity to work for a great company that is a leader in our industry."
